I have a Braun watch that comes with a leather band, but that band has been worn out over the years. Since my watch is black, I'll have to find a black metal band. I went to a clock shop and learned I need 18mm band, then I found this band on Amazon. I was thinking the color might fall off quickly due to rubs encountered in daily life. However, it has been 4 months and my band is still shiny as new, no scratches nor any color has been rubbed off. Surprisingly, the bottom clamp that always rub against table and desk are shiny too, without any color falling off or scratches.
