The watch is excellent, shipped in original packaging, and in great shape. Love the classic, minimalist design. I have some pretty small wrists, and while the watch face itself fits well, the band that this is shipped with is slightly longer/has a larger diameter than what is standard. FOR MOST PEOPLE THIS SHOULDN'T BE AN ISSUE. But if you find yourself usually notching your strap on the tightest hole, or reaching for a shorter, off the shelf strap, be aware going in that you are definitely going to have to replace the strap on this watch. I found one that matched the smooth grain leather appearance of the original at Holben's for not too much money.Overall, very pleased. With the strap that fits just right this watch is on my wrist most days of the week.I absolutely love the watch, however the band is horrible. It says it’s leather, and that may be, but there is a heavy rubber like backing to it that makes it almost impossible to bend the band. No where In the product description does it say what size replacement band will fit. I’ve purchased and returned two different sizes and I finally found one that works. If you do purchase the watch you will need a 21mm band. It’s a rather u usual size and you will have to do some searching. If it helps, Amazon carries a brand called SKAGEN that makes the correct size and they offer it in different colors. Good luck!I love the style of this watch. Two drawbacks-1. It is very lightweight (if you like your watches to have some heft), and 2. The strap is rubbish.I switched the strap to a light tan leather, and it looks good. Definitely consider, if you don't mind lightweight watches. Style-wise, it's great!Gets the job done, has a unique look. Numbers are a bit small, and no date. Band is ok, hard to find the perfect fit, usually either a bit loose or a bit tight, but for an inexpensive day to day watch, it's fine. If you like the look, go for it.Braun is a good brand, and we have purchased many Braun products. Good value for the money.I liked this stylish watch. But the band's quality is not very good and it is better to replace it.The error is in the product card: the width of the band is 22 mm, not 18 mm!I returned my first order of this watch when it stopped working after less than a month. It had quickly become my favorite. I'm hoping this one isn't an issue. It may have been the battery in the first one but I wasn't taking a chance.I would love this watch-the face is very nice and it keeps good time-but the strap is not so great. Not real leather and it seems to be fraying. I will probably replace the strap. It's still a nice watch for the price, but the strap doesn't match the quality of the watch itself. The second hand does not align with the seconds markers. I have a Casio MQ-24-7BL that cost £7, a tenth of the price of this, and the second hand on that IS correctly aligned. The "Braun" brand watch design and production has declined since Proctor and Gamble sold their watch/clock division to Zeon, a UK brand handling outfit that outsource their production. This is now just the kind of watch that gives Chinese watches a bad name (by the way I've nothing against Chinese watches as such, the Casio I mentioned has a Japanese movement but was cased, correctly as it happens, in China. I just don't want to pay an EU price for a Chinese product. Avoid Braun.I love the simple styling of this watch. It matches the pared down functionality of this model, which looks a bit like a smart office wall clock that's been miniaturised.Despite the simplicity, I think a lot of care has gone into the design. The face is highly legible, even in very dark conditions. The second hand is coloured light brown to make it slightly fainter than the two other hands against the black background. The strap is mounted to the base of the watch rather than the sides so as not to disrupt the perfect circle of the body (though this could make it difficult to replace the strap). It's comfortable to wear and has kept good time (not a second lost or gained) in the week I've had it.The only slight niggle is that the loop on the strap that's meant to keep the free end tidy could be a bit tighter so that it stays in place.UPDATE (29th Nov 2013) - A year on and it's still running well. However, a split has started to appear on the inside of the strap near the hole that I use. I've repaired it temporarily with superglue (which was also my solution to the loop problem) but I think the strap will need replacing soon.Bargain. Silly price for a Dieter Rams designed watch. Lugless case and good strap. Iconic face.Feels well made with good adjustment. I have seen some reviews stating that the second hand misses the marks, well mine is spot on.It is possible to put this watch on NATO straps.Great buy.I wanted a relatively inexpensive, reliable and attractive watch for daily wear, and this fits the bill perfectly. Being a fan of understated, minimalist styles, I considered alternatives including Mondaine and Uniform Wares but, ultimately couldn't justify their higher prices and went with the Braun.I love the design. The uncluttered high-contrast face, striking yellow second hand and lug-less brushed metal case give it that functional but elegant look that makes Braun so popular with design enthusiasts. The one niggle for me is the wide, rectangular strap holes, which make the strap look rather too chunky for such a stark design, but it's easy enough to change.Build quality is very good, with a solid, nicely finished feel and it's keeping time perfectly well. It even comes in quite a nice presentation box, which I hadn't expected. The face is a little larger than I expected and, if my wrists were any skinnier than they are, it'd probably be too much. Anyone with thin wrists might want to check the dimensions before buying. This is a very nice watch with a classic look, very happy'but'the watch strap is by a country mile the worst strap I've ever worn, it is leather but so stiff it's nearly impossible to close and open, just buy a new strap when getting this beauty
