Part of the Service series of nylon straps and an original Haveston design, the M-22-B is a second variation of the M-22 strap, with an updated weave style. It features a versatile subdued combination of greys in a unique naval-based asymmetrical configuration, with a heavy dark navy blue stripe. The battleship-inspired pattern is based on the 1942 U.S. Navy Measure 22 camouflage scheme used on vessels in the Pacific and European theaters of WWII. Famously worn by the USS Missouri in Tokyo Bay in 1945, the scheme consisted of 20-B Deck Blue, 5-H Haze Grey and 5-N Navy Blue. It was designed for conditions where "high angle aerial observation was unlikely."

The A2 version features a single-pass layout for a streamlined wearing profile and reduced "off-wrist" height. M-22-B has a reinforced tail tip and setting holes, as well as an updated, edged weave. The sliding keeper allows easy and secure stowing of the tail.
