This is a smashing watch, with one caveat. The dial is readable, the sapphire glass looks and feels like it belongs on a much more expensive watch. It looks far better in real life than it does in renders or even the majority of photographs you'll see. Being a quartz watch it is inherently more accurate than even the very expensive high-end watches. It's also very thin. The chronometer is only accurate to the second, so no measuring 10ths, 20ths etc. of a second. It's more of a timer than a chronometer, but who in the real world measures fractions of a second? The only caveat is the clasp on the strap. It will partially latch when pressed, but requires a hard press to latch fully. My watch clasp kept coming undone, and it wasn't until I examined it very closely that I realised the double sided release would only latch on one side unless pressed hard. It felt latched, but it wasn't. Now I know, the latch is very reliable. Overall I'm very happy. I showed the watch to the wife, waxing lyrical on it's numerous design features and aesthetics, and her reaction? "It's blue." Philistine. Just wait until I see her next pair of new shoes! :)I have another Casio Ediface in Black! Purchased in 2017 and still running on the original Battery. I bought this as it was less than 80 Quid! I like the Blue face and it's a good looking watch. What's not to like? 5 starsVery pleased with this, bought as Xmas gift for husband. Attractive gift box and the watch has an eyecatching fascia.Could not be more pleased. I own an Omega Seamaster, but in reality this is the only watch you ever need! Not the quality I was expecting.
